  • Drug Eruptions

BACKGROUND: It is well known that fluorouracil (FU) agents frequently induce discoid-lupus-erythematosus (DLE)-like eruptions and acral erythema in Japan.[] Morbilliform drug eruption [exanthematous drug eruption; maculopapular drug eruption, "drug rash" Are You Confident of the Diagnosis?[] Oral lichenoid drug eruption is more likely to affect the inside of only one cheek.[]

CONCLUSION: The presence of abundant fibrosis in 5 of our patients similar to that observed in erythema elevatum diutinum suggests that granuloma faciale and erythema elevatum[] However, 3 patients, including ours had unilateral or bilateral uveitis [ 22 , 26 ], while 2 patients had generalized maculopapular rash before the development of papules[] The lesion is usually single, may be multiple and commonly involves cheek, nose or forehead. Initially, slowly growing purplish-red macules appear.[]

  • Cutaneous Sarcoidosis

  • Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis

.— To conduct a prospective case-control study about causative factors of severe bullous erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and toxic epidermal necrolysis, we[] We describe a case of oxcarbazepine induced TEN, who presented with erythematous ulcerative maculopapular rash.[] There is an erythematous macular rash at the bilateral cheeks, chest, and back, as well as palmar erythema.[]
