  • Streptococcal Infection

    The disease is characterized by pancarditis, migratory polyarthritis of large joints, erythema marginatum of the skin, subcutaneous nodules, and chorea (a neurologic disorder[] These can help in the diagnosis of rheumatic fever , post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis and erythema nodosum.[] A 16-year-old boy presented to the emergency department with chest pain. He had no history of other health problems and did not smoke.[]

  • Rheumatic Fever

    All cases presented with migratory polyarthritis, whereas 1 had erythema marginatum and transient carditis.[] Erythema nodosum . Heart disease - consider: Cardiomyopathy . Kawasaki disease . Infective endocarditis . Rash (erythema marginatum) - consider: Drug reactions .[] Thus, patients presenting with chest pain and electrocardiological and biochemical evidence of myocardial necrosis are not always suffering from an acute coronary syndrome[]

  • Sarcoidosis

    Erythema nodosum.[] A 67-year female patient, who was diagnosed as sarcoidosis previously, was admitted to our hospital with symptoms of dyspnea, chest pain and fatigue.[] For example, patients suffering from pulmonary sarcoidosis may have a persistent dry cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest pain.[]
