  • Retroperitoneal Hematoma

    This case illustrates the diagnostic problems encountered in a patient with posttraumatic retroperitoneal abscess caused by perforation of the posterior wall of the cecum,[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] One complication of femoral artery catheterization is postprocedure pelvic hematoma. These hematomas can be difficult to differentiate from adnexal masses.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] A 57-year-old diabetic man presented with bacteremia with retroperitoneal abscess and pleural effusion caused by C. meningosepticum on the 12th day of hospitalization.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
