213 Possible Causes for Hemorrhage, Seizure, Visual Field Test Abnormal

  • Stroke

There are two types of stroke, hemorrhagic and ischemic.[web.archive.org] Twenty patients (40%) had a single seizure, and most seizures (34, or 68%) were simple partial seizures or partial seizures with 2 generalization.[doi.org] The final hemorrhagic volume after the period of hemorrhagic expansion and the location are of hemorrhage are strong predictors of outcome. 4, 5 Prevention of hemorrhagic[doi.org]

  • Subdural Hematoma

Unfortunately, acute post-operative parenchymal hemorrhage occurred in three advanced age patients.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Exclusion criteria History of pre‐existing seizures.[doi.org] We evaluated the relevant literature to analyze the causes of cerebral hemorrhage in similar patients.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

  • Cerebral Thrombosis

The clinical presentation with cerebral hemorrhage constitutes a diagnostic challenge. Approximately one- third of CVT patients developed intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] More than a third of them sustains seizures, with generalized seizures occurring more frequently than focal seizures. Many patients present with hemiparesis.[symptoma.com] […] prothrombin gene G20210A variant or the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) C677T genotype are risk factors for central nervous system (CNS) thrombosis or intraventricular hemorrhage[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

  • Hypertensive Encephalopathy

Our primary outcome was the composite of subsequent ischemic stroke or intracerebral hemorrhage.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] The hemorrhagic lesions are microbleeds and large hemorrhages .[neuropathology-web.org] When three children undergoing chemotherapy for acute leukemia presented with seizures, conventional MR images demonstrated what appeared to be acute, posterior, parasagittal[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

  • Epidural Hematoma

In this video we will be covering of Cerebral Hemorrhages such as epidural hemorrhage, subdural hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and intracerebral hemorrhage in preparation[trending.network] Symptoms (such as seizures ) may persist for several months, even after treatment. In time they may become less frequent or disappear.[nlm.nih.gov] Seizure medications may be needed, as seizures is a common symptom.[cerebralpalsyguidance.com]

  • Meningioma

Cerebellopontine angle (CPA) lesions rarely present with hemorrhage.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Few studies focus on seizure outcomes after resections of meningiomas.[epilepsy.com] Brain computed tomography revealed a sphenoid meningioma with acute intraventricular hemorrhage.  Intraventricular hemorrhage caused by Meningiomas is infrequent.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

  • Brain Abscess

Brain abscess is a known complication of surgically treated intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), but it is exceptionally rare that it occurs at the same site of a nonoperated ICH[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] The patient was a 60-year-old man admitted for a seizure and administered an anticonvulsant, after which he began stuttering.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Although IE causes various neurological complications including intracranial hemorrhage, hemorrhagic brain abscess in patients with IE is rare.[link.springer.com]

  • Brain Neoplasm

We recently experienced a case of paroxysmal hyperthermia following intracerebral hemorrhage along with brain neoplasm.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Seizures, focal or generalized, may be the earliest expression of a brain tumor.[emedicine.medscape.com] Central pontine myelinolysis Cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) collection EEG Hepatic encephalopathy Hepatocerebral degeneration Increased intracranial pressure Intraventricular hemorrhage[icdlist.com]

  • Cerebral Toxoplasmosis

Six patients had hemorrhage at the time of initial clinical presentation and one developed hemorrhage following 2 weeks of antitoxoplasma treatment.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] He had focal seizures for which he was treated as an "epileptic" with herbal preparations.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Classic cerebral toxoplasmosis typically presents with neurologic symptoms such as seizures and mental status changes and histological examination shows focal lesions with[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

  • Temporal Lobe Tumor

Petechial hemorrhage appears as punctate foci of hemorrhage within the cortex or basal ganglia without mass effect and likely reflects tissue reperfusion. 2 Petechial hemorrhage[jaocr.org] A visual field acuity test is performed by a neuro-ophthalmologist to detect vision loss and missing areas in your field of view.[mayfieldclinic.com] Worthwhile seizure control was achieved in 29 patients (82.8%).[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
