  • Graft-versus-Host-Disease

All cases had diarrhea and pancytopenia, 4 out of 5 presented with erythematous skin rashes, and 2 had cytomegalovirus colitis.[] As generally known ( 18 ), PBMC of naive nude rats showed very low percentages of CD3 CD4 lymphocytes (Fig. 3 b ) or CD3 CD8 lymphocytes (data not shown).[] The patient had dehydration, acute kidney injuries, rashes, diarrhea, and pancytopenia.[]

  • Aplastic Anemia

Differentiation of AN-associated pancytopenia from other types of pancytopenia, especially idiopathic aplastic anemia (IAA), has not been studied.[] Pancytopenia is a condition with decreased numbers of all cell lines.[] Severe pancytopenia was diagnosed a median of 10 wk after the initiation of therapy.[]

  • Pernicious Anemia

The outcome was rapidly marked by febrile pancytopenia and ataxia leading to the diagnosis of pernicious anemia.[] Although her anemia was categorized as "normocytic, normochromic" by an electronic particle counter, evaluation of the pancytopenia confirmed unsuspected pernicious anemia[] The cobalamin deficiency was revealed by macrocytic pancytopenia.[]

  • Amegakaryocytic Thrombocytopenia

Congenital amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenia (CAMT) is characterised by neonatal thrombocytopenia, with reduced or absent bone marrow megakaryocytes, leading eventually to pancytopenia[] Patients initially present with isolated thrombocytopenia that subsequently progresses into pancytopenia.[] Development of pancytopenia was observed in 14 of the patients, only one patient presented with an isolated thrombocytopenia over a period of over 14 years.[]

  • Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria

We report a 19-year-old female patient admitted to the hospital with pancytopenia. Workout of pancytopenia disclosed paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.[] The major causes of associated morbidity and mortality are chronic intravascular hemolysis, pancytopenia, and venous thrombosis.[] Two years after disease onset, while pancytopenia remained stable, occurrence of morning dark urine led to found a paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria clone.[]
