- Asymptomatic

A total of 17 patients (94.4%) were asymptomatic. In all cases AIS was confirmed following an abnormal cytological screening. Only a patient (5.6%) had clinical signs of AIS in the form of anomalous gynecological bleeding. [oatext.com]

The cone biopsy specimen must be thoroughly sectioned and examined by a gynecological pathologist, and the patient should remain under specialist supervision during the period of follow-up. [link.springer.com]

Treatment
Cervical AIS treatment Treatment for most types of AIS involves simply removing the AIS tumor, but treatment for cervical AIS is a little different. Your treatment for cervical AIS depends on a few different factors. [healthline.com]
The standard treatment for cervical AIS is hysterectomy, which is a more aggressive treatment than that used for squamous intraepithelial lesions. [bmccancer.biomedcentral.com]
One possible treatment is surgical removal of the cells with cryotherapy. What are the signs of eye cancer, and what is the treatment? Learn more here. [medicalnewstoday.com]
However, solid, invasive components are frequently present and despite radical treatment, recurrence rates are high. [radiopaedia.org]
Hysterectomy remains the standard treatment for AIS. Selected patients who wish to preserve fertility can be alternatively managed with conservative treatment (i.e., conization). [link.springer.com]
