Presentation
In this report, the clinical presentation and the pathological features of congenital mesoblastic nephroma are also reviewed from available literature. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

FISH analysis using a chromosome 11-centromere probe detected trisomy or tetrasomy 11 in all three tumors with the ETV6-NTRK3 fusion signal. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Sore Throat
There was no history of fever, increased frequency of urine, sore throat, pyoderma, swelling of body or abdomen or periorbital puffiness, skin rash, or drug intake. No antenatal USG was available. [indianjnephrol.org]

Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis
Coincidental findings were congenital hypertrophic pyloric stenosis (CHPS) and nephrocalcinotic hypercalcemia that reverted after nephrectomy. As of the day of writing, this multiple association has not been reported. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Placental Disorder
Various fetal or placental disorders cause Ballantyne's (mirror) syndrome. For the first time, we report a maternal manifestation of Ballantyne's syndrome occurring concomitantly with the development of fetal congenital mesoblastic nephroma (CMN). [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Hyperreninemia
In the present article, we report, for the first time, a prenatal diagnosis of a congenital mesoblastic nephroma in combination with a post-partum hyperreninemia with hypertension. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Polyhydramnios, with or without hydrops fetalis, and/or preterm labor are associated with CMN. [7] Some CMNs are associated with paraneoplastic syndromes such as hypertension (due to hyperreninemia) and hypercalcemia (due to prostaglandin secretion from [jfcmonline.com]

Usually, the treatment of this type of tumor is surgical, either with nephrectomy or total nephrouretectomy which, besides reducing the possibility of recurrence, will serve as treatment for the hypertension secondary to hyperreninemia(3,6). [docksci.com]
Treatment
The risk of treatment-related mortality (both surgery- and chemotherapy-related) is relatively high in the first weeks of life, indicating that these young patients deserve special attention with respect to timing and type of treatment. 2017 Wiley Periodicals [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
CONCLUSIONS: Low frecuency of this tumor limit the experience on diagnostic and treatment. Standard treatment is nephroureterectomy radical with free margins. Adjuvant therapy should be considered in recurrent disease although exists few studies. [biomedsearch.com]
Prognosis
Univariate analysis showed that early gestational week at diagnosis was the only feature significantly associated with poor prognosis. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Etiology
The clinical course of this patient may suggest an etiology of Ballantyne's syndrome. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Metastasis to lung, liver, brain, and heart have been reported. [14], [15], [16], [17], [18] Cystic nephroma, also known as MCN, is a rare nongenetic lesion of unknown etiology. [jiaps.com]

Epidemiology
Others have concluded that the morphology and epidemiology of mixed epithelial and stromal tumor indicate that it is unrelated to congenital mesoblastic nephroma. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Pathophysiology
We present a case involving a premature infant with congenital mesoblastic nephroma with discussion of embryology, pathophysiology, diagnostic, management, and prognostic implications for the neonate and family. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Prevention
The main treatment of this pathology if diagnosed during pregnancy remains the prevention of preterm labor, and after birth the removal of the kidney. [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
