Presentation
The Demos Surgical Pathology Guides series presents in summary and visual form the basic knowledge base that every practicing pathologist needs every working day. [books.google.de]
Presents an in-depth differential diagnosis discussion for all major entities. Examines the role of special techniques such as immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and molecular biology in resolving difficulties in interpretation and diagnosis. [books.google.com]
Case presentation : We report the case of a 14 year-old white girl who presented with a nodular lesion in the thigh, involving the skin and soft tissue. The histologic diagnosis retained was a HS. [latunisiemedicale.com]
He then presented with left cervical lymphadenopathy 2.5 years later and underwent a left neck dissection with similar pathology. A discussion of the disease process and WTC exposure is presented. [casereports.bmj.com]

Swelling
The most common symptom is a painless swelling of a lymph node, usually in the neck. But a swelling can develop elsewhere in the lymphatic system. Follicular dendritic cell sarcomas are described as indolent, which means they grow slowly. [cancerresearchuk.org]
The patient presented with swelling of the left tonsil and resultant difficulty in swallowing for last three months. The tumor was excised and was sent for histopathologic examination. [njms.in]

Clinically, most patients presented with a painless swelling. [ijpmonline.org]
The patient underwent surgical excision of the swelling by a partial left parotidectomy with preservation of the facial nerve. [diagnosticpathology.biomedcentral.com]

Falling
Poorer prognosis: intra-abdominal presentation, significant cytologic atypia, extensive coagulative necrosis, high proliferation index, large tumor 6cm o 10% to 20% pts die of disease, often after a long time o Occasional dendritic cell neoplasms do not fall [hemepathreview.com]

Treatment
Treatment with chemotherapy along with adjuvant radiation therapy was successful in decreasing the size of the nasopharyngeal mass, and the patient remained free of any evidence of recurrence nearly 5 years after treatment. [jhu.pure.elsevier.com]
Authored by international experts in the field, it covers a broad range of hematologic disorders -- both benign and malignant -- with information on the pathogenesis, clinical and pathologic diagnosis, and treatment for each. [books.google.com]
Treatment As follicular dendritic cell sarcoma is very rare, doctors are still trying to work out the standard treatment. Your specialist will discuss this with you. [cancerresearchuk.org]
