Due to its uncharacteristic presentation, it is rarely diagnosed clinically. Here we present one such case in a 50-year-old lady. She presented with a hard mobile lesion over her nose which was excised. The histologic picture is characterized... [connection.ebscohost.com]
The patient’s first pregnancy was aborted in the third month of pregnancy (14 months prior to presentation), but no skin lesions were reported at that time. [mdedge.com]

Follicular Plugging
Available from: Introduction Erythromelanosis follicularis faciei et colli (EFFC) is a rare disorder of unknown etiology characterized by the clinical triad of erythema, hyperpigmentation and follicular plugging on the face. [1] By 2013, some 55 cases [ijpd.in]
Examination revealed small, discrete, spiny papules with follicular plugging present on a normal looking skin all over the body. In the natal cleft and pubic region, the lesions were grouped to form plaques with occasional pustules. [ijdvl.com]

This raises the question of whether flushing via autonomic dysregulation may have a role in the clinical manifestations. In summary, we describe 27 patients with KPR, a variant of KP that has not been previously emphasized in the medical literature. [jamanetwork.com]

Traupe was able, thanks to his unceasing clinical curiosity, to describe many novel aspects within the field of ichthyosis, and I took pride in coauthoring papers on new items such as cryptorchidism as a fea ture associated with X-linked recessive ichthyosis [books.google.de]

Treatment
Broaden your knowledge with updated information on serological diagnosis of pemphigus, TNF-I for hidradenitis suppurativa, the use of immunosuppressives for atopic dermatitis, excimer laser for the treatment of vitiligo and much more. [books.google.de]
The treatment modalities for EFFC have not been established yet. [ijpd.in]
However, a dermatologist may be able to suggest treatment options to improve the appearance of your skin. Follicular keratosis Scalpel surgery or laser treatment can remove these lesions, though treatment isn’t necessary. [healthline.com]
To get the best results from the laser treatments, your dermatologist may add a few microdermabrasion sessions to your treatment plan. [aad.org]
