Presentation
Bambini, MD, […] Presented by Shinya Takazawa,MD, during the 2013 IPEG Annual Meeting. [ipeg.org]
No mitotic activity or necrosis is present. The cytoplasm is scant. Numerous psammomatous calcifications are present. Immunohistochemical stains for WT1 and BRAF are positive. [pathologyoutlines.com]
While it can present at any age 6, the peak age of occurrence is thought to be around the 5th to 6th decades 2. There may be a 2:1 female preponderance 2. Metanephric adenoma is asymptomatic in many patients. [radiopaedia.org]
Pain, hematuria and palpable mass are the most commonly presented signs. We report the case of a 49-year old female with a 14-cm solitary right renal tumor. [biblat.unam.mx]
Conclusions BRAF V600E mutations are present in approximately 90% of all MA cases, serving as a potential valuable diagnostic tool in the differential diagnosis of SRMs undergoing a percutaneous biopsy. [typeset.io]
Entire Body System
- Pain
Some patients can have abdominal pain and hematuria. Metanephric adenoma is histologically characterized by the arrangement of monotonous small blue embryonal epithelial cells in an acinar, tubular, or sheetlike configuration. [radiopaedia.org]

[…] suggested that at least a subset originates from an adult Wilms tumor (Am J Surg Pathol 2022;46:988) Clinical features Usually discovered incidentally with no presenting symptoms If presenting with symptoms, it can demonstrate hematuria, pyrexia, flank pain [pathologyoutlines.com]
Presenting signs and symptoms included pain in 11, hematuria in five, and palpable mass in five. In 20 patients the tumors were found incidentally during evaluation for other problems, and in six the other problem was polycythemia. [pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Clinically, pain, hematuria and palpable mass are the most common presenting signs. Females predominate by well over 2:1. A higher incidence of polycythemia is often found in these patients. [karger.com]

Treatment
Of further relevance is that this tumour is more commonly calcified than any other kidney neoplasm.[2] Surgery is curative and no other treatment is recommended. There is so far no evidence of metastases or local recurrence. [en.wikipedia.org]
