Symptoms of Schinzel type phocomelia are present from birth and may include having no fibula (lower bone of the leg) or ulna (bone of the arm), having an underdeveloped (hypoplastic) pelvis, and having differences in the sex structures (genitalia). [rarediseases.info.nih.gov]
