Developmental Delay
  • Urinary tract infection is common in pregnancy, and recent studies have suggested an association with mental retardation and developmental delay.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Surgical Procedure
  • Erosion of surgical materials into the adjacent organs following surgical procedures is a rare complication.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Irritability
  • Mild to moderate vaginal discharge and genital irritation were reported by women in both study arms. Seven women randomized to L. crispatus CTV-05 developed pyuria without associated symptoms.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Nocturnal Enuresis
  • Nocturnal enuresis, diurnal urinary incontinence and urinary urgency were symptoms of dysfunctional voiding typical of detrusor stability.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]
Vaginal Bleeding
  • Adverse events for vaginal oestrogens were breast tenderness, vaginal bleeding or spotting, nonphysiologic discharge, vaginal irritation, burning and itching.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Workup

  • No studied risk factor was predictive of an abnormal workup. Neurourol. Urodynam. 36:692-696, 2017. 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Treatment

  • Escherichia coli strains were suppressed by both treatments. Staphylococcus spp. and enterococci colony counts increased following PIV treatment in the periurethral flora but remained stable with NOR.[ncbi.nlm.nih.gov]

Etiology

Sex distribution
Age distribution

Pathophysiology
